Jessie Mazur Photography & Design LLC will not share your contact information or payment information with anyone. Please read the FAQ section for more information on photo privacy.

 

What are your business hours?

Hours vary seasonally based on best available lighting. If I do not return your call/text/email within 24 hours, I am probably in the back country and I will get back to you as soon as I return. 

 

Will you post my photos on Facebook or Instagram?

While I greatly appreciate the opportunity to share photos of my clients on social media platforms, clients paying full price reserve the right to refuse online posting. It is my policy to always allow clients to view their photos before request permission to post pictures online.

The exception is photo shoots done on trade, donation or at significantly reduced prices. In this scenario, subjects are typically agreeing to allow online posting for promotional purposes at the photographer’s discretion.

 

Do you require a deposit?

It depends on the photo shoot and the time of year. I typically do not require a deposit for photo shoots costing less than $300. Payment is due in full at the time of service.

For photo shoots that require significant preparation like styled shoots and weddings, I ask for a 50% deposit – or more if a professional model is requested. Wedding clients may request a payment plan.

Deposits are non-refundable.

 

Do you release printing rights?

I grant personal-use printing rights to photo shoot clients paying full price. This means you can order high quality prints directly through my website or you can download the images and have prints made via another printing service like Walgreens or Costco.

This does NOT include reuse or advertising rights. You may not under any circumstances sell the images for profit. Business clients MAY be granted limited advertising rights at no additional charge. However, I highly recommend business owners clarify usage rights with their photographer well in advance since every photo shoot offers a unique set of circumstances. I try to be as fair and upfront as possible.

What is your return policy?

I do not accept returns on print orders. In the rare event that a print is damaged in shipping, I will do my best to replace the product at no additional cost to you.

 

How long will it take to get my photos back?

Turn around time can fluctuate depending on the time of year and the complexity of the photo shoot (shoots that require more detailed editing take longer to process). The average client can expect their photos back in 3 to 4 weeks, many even sooner. Wedding clients may have to wait 6 to 8 weeks. Rush orders are sometimes possible, but may be subject to additional charges.  

 

How can I access my photos?

All photos are uploaded to an online client gallery with a unique url via this website. Once photos are processed, I will send you a link to the gallery with a password. Default settings allow anyone with the link to view the gallery, but require a password for downloading. These settings are easy to customize if you prefer less or greater password protection or want to change your password.

I keep client galleries active for a significant amount of time and I back up files on my personal hard drives, but I recommend downloading all your images sooner rather than later.
